Tammy Hembrow announces the start of her ‘TV star era’ as she lands gig hosting major

Tammy Hembrow is poised to become a television star after landing her second major TV gig.

The influencer, who is currently appearing in the Channel Nine reality show Shark!, has now been announced as the new host of international hit, Aussie Shore.

The 32-year-old takes over from British star Charlotte Crosby as the ‘House Boss’ on the upcoming third season of the reality series, marking Tammy’s first television hosting role.

Filming is currently underway on Queensland‘s Gold Coast, and Tammy says she is settling into her new career with aplomb.

‘I’m excited to be taking on more of a hosting role, and see how I do and how I like it,’ Hembrow told Daily Telegraph on Sunday.

‘It’s something very different for me, and I feel like it could be the start of my TV era.’

Tammy added: ‘Being the Boss on a Gold Coast show feels like the perfect fit for me, as I’ve lived here on the Gold Coast my whole life.

‘It’s a fun show and I can’t wait to be part of it.’

It has been clear in recent weeks that Tammy is taking her foray into the world of TV very seriously, as she turned herself into a glamorous small screen star earlier this month.

The fitness influencer looked every inch the budding television star as she arrived at the launch of the new Nine series Shark! in Sydney.

Usually wearing activewear, casual outfits and a minimal makeup look, Tammy went heavy on the glam as she dressed for the jobs she wants.

She poured her toned figure into a bright red gown by Melbourne-based fashion designer Effie Kats, flashing her midriff and tattoos.

‘Still can’t believe I’m part of this. Grateful for everyone involved, from the crew and production, to the amazing cast,’ Tammy wrote on social media.

‘My little shark fam. Getting to screen the first episode was so surreal. This one’s huge.’

Talk of Tammy’s potential TV roles is rife in industry circles, and she was recently forced to set the record straight following swirling rumours she was set to appear on US reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives

The Australian influencer raised eyebrows back in April when she was spotted partying with Mormon Wives star Chase McWhorter and his ex-wife Miranda Hope at Coachella.

Chase even shared a TikTok video of the trio, adding the cheeky caption: ‘This is the best day of my entire life.’

The display promptly sparked speculation that Tammy could be set to make a cameo on the popular show.

However, when quizzed during an interview with 2DayFM Breakfast’s Nath & Emma, Tammy was quick to shut the chatter down.

‘No, I’m not!’ Tammy replied when asked whether she would appear on the next season.
