A Star Is Born! Listen to Guy Sebastian’s son Archie, 12, blow the roof off an arena in

Guy Sebastian recently delivered a surprise that quickly became the talk of Sydney’s live music scene, bringing his 12-year-old son Archie on stage for a duet that left a packed arena in awe.

The Australian singer, 44, invited Archie on stage during a show at Sydney’s TikTok Entertainment Centre, where the pair performed a stripped-back, emotionally charged version of Whitney Houston‘s I Have Nothing.

What began as a family moment quickly turned into a standout performance in its own right, with Archie’s pitch-perfect vocals and heartfelt delivery drawing a strong reaction from the crowd.

The pre-teen handled the demanding ballad with surprising confidence, holding his own alongside his superstar father and delivering several standout high notes.

Audience members described a noticeable shift in the room as the duet progressed, prompting cheers, applause breaks and visible emotion from fans throughout the arena.

The Battle Scars singer appeared visibly moved as he performed alongside his son, at times stepping back to let Archie take centre-stage.

The moment was later amplified online when Larry Emdur shared a clip on social media, writing: ‘The best 2min38 you’ll spend on insta today. It was dusty in there so 10,000 peoples eyes were watering as Guy’s little boy Archie blew the roof off.

‘A SuperStar is Born, A father completely overwhelmed with pride, such a special moment.. @guysebastian @julessebastian Wow!! Guys – Just Wow!! @archerjonessebastian you killed it !!!’

Fans have gone online to praise Archie’s composure and vocal strength at such a young age, with some suggesting he may be a breakout talent in his own right.

‘So cool that Guy was allowed up on stage at Archie’s concert,’ quipped TV presenter Sam Mac.

‘Far out. What a moment. How very special – there’s no way I’d be able to compose myself if I was watching on!’ added My Kitchen Rules star Ash Pollard.

‘I’m not crying… you’re crying,’ celebrity personal trainer Michelle Bridges chimed in and veteran reality TV star Tim Robards added: ‘Wow’.

Guy and his wife Jules share two sons, Hudson, 14, and Archie.

In December, it was reported that with a massive arena tour in the works for 2026, it seems that Guy Sebastian is going back to ‘humble’ beginnings to prepare.

The former Voice mentor was spotted serenading diners at a Western Sydney RSL Club.

TikTok user bisdakinaustralia took to the platform to share a clip of the Idol star’s surprising gig at Bistro 1925 at the recently opened Cabravale Club Resort in Canley Vale.

Dressed casually in a blue and white striped top and matching jeans, Guy hit the stage solo.

With acoustic guitar in hand, Guy delivered a pitch-perfect rendition of his 2012 hit, Battle Scars.

‘Guy Sebastian at Cabravale Club Resort visit and dining with us,’ the caption read.

Many took to the comments to claim that Guy had ‘come down in the world’ by playing at an RSL.

‘Times must be tough,’ one follower quipped, while another offered a cutting: ‘Lol, Temu Guy.’

Cabravale Club Resort officially opened its doors in November with a performance from Guy, lion dancers, drone shows and fireworks.

As part of the celebrations, Guy was also joined by wife Jules to chat about the couple’s youth mental health initiative The Sebastian Foundation.
