This is the moment a panicked woman found a ‘human foot’ in her meal and proceeded to call the police.
As she prepared to tuck into her takeaway, she had the fright of her life after discovering what she thought was a limb in her stew.
The Frenchwoman hurriedly called the police.
Officers arrived and ultimately discovered the ‘human foot’ was, in fact, an oddly-shaped piece of crab.
The woman had ordered foutou, a traditional West African dish typically made with either beef, crab, chicken, lamb or smoked fish.
In a viral TikTok video, the user explained the authorities were also initially suspicious of the sinister ingredient but were then amused at the misunderstanding.
‘You made our evening’ officers told her, according to La Dépêche.
The story has taken French TikTok by storm, having accumulated ten million views and almost 800,000 likes on the platform.

After police officers were called to her home, it was discovered that the ‘foot’ was actually a piece of crab (a typical ingredient in the West African stew)
In an effort to dispel accusations of racism, the user made a follow-up video insisting she never intended to offend any culture nor harm the local business.
‘The restaurant was not impacted. I did not say their name [in the video] and the police didn’t ask me for it either,’ she added.
The customer had ordered the Ivorian dish with beef, not crab, which further explained her confusion when she opened the takeaway box.
This incident comes after an American TikTok user found maggots squirming inside her McDonald’s burger last year, leaving her ‘so sick’ that she lost seven pounds.
She ‘immediately’ began suffering agonising stomach pain and stopped in her tracks, only to find white ‘little worms’ inside her Big Mac.
It was only after she had already began eating her burger that the woman made the gruesome discovery of maggots wriggling in her beef patty
The customer said the incident caused her to run to the bathroom every 15 minutes
The woman, known only as @FresaConCrema313, told her TikTok followers: ‘I ate it immediately. My stomach started hurting immediately.
‘As soon as I got home I didn’t feel well.
‘I found these little worms in my Big Mac. I am so disgusted. There were about ten more when I first opened it up.
‘They all crawled back inside the burger. Look at that. I ate that.’
She added: ‘I cannot believe this. No wonder I’m so sick — I’ve never felt this sick in my life.
‘I’m running to the bathroom every 15 minutes. I’ve lost seven pounds since I ate this.
‘I didn’t know that McDonald’s could make you lose weight.
‘Now it makes sense. I’ve got to determine if I should go to the hospital or not.’
The Daily Mail has approached McDonald’s for comment.
