Hailey Bieber slips into LBD for solo appearance at event after Justin’s eyebrow-raising

Hailey Baldwin Bieber slipped her slim 5ft7in figure into a sexy Saint Laurent LBD to attend the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards, which were held at MoMA in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday.

The Rhode founder – turning 29 next month – bared her shoulders in the strapless leather top, which was belted over a matching pencil skirt that was selected by stylist Dani Michelle.

Hailey wore dark pantyhose with a pair of white pointy-toed slingback pumps despite the old fashion rule about never wearing white after Labor Day.

Bieber accessorized her motorcycle jacket-inspired attire with $13,200 Tiffany ‘Victoria’ pearl-and-diamond earrings as well as the brand’s ‘Victoria’ mixed cluster diamond bracelet.

Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett coiffed the Chase Sapphire paid partner’s tidy updo.

And make-up artist Mary Phillips applied her brown eye shadow, overlined lips, brushed-up brows, and blush for the awards ceremony.

Last May, Hailey sold her skincare/cosmetics company for $1B to e.l.f Cosmetics, and she will remain with the company as chief creative officer and head of innovation.

For this feat, Bieber was awarded WSJ. Magazine’s Beauty Innovator of 2025.

The Arizona-born beauty hit the stage’s podium to deliver remarks as she accepted the honor.

Noticeably missing from the black-tie event was Hailey’s husband Justin Bieber.

The 31-year-old Canadian pop star spent his Wednesday livestreaming on his new Twitch account and attending a Churchome service at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. 

Justin raised eyebrows when he shared his views on cheating: ‘If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it, committing adultery, or whatever.’

‘It’s like the same thing,’ the two-time Grammy winner – who joined the Amazon-owned service a week ago – noted. ‘If it even crosses your mind for one second.’

The Biebers – who eventually plan on having more children – are gearing up to celebrate Halloween this Friday with their 14-month-old son Jack Blues.

‘Justin was an only child, so all the conversations we’ve ever had about that is that we want our son to have siblings,’ Hailey said on the In Your Dreams podcast last Friday.

‘I do have help. I have full-time help. And I’m super not ashamed to say that. And I would never shy away from talking about that because I wouldn’t be able to have my career and do the things that I do without the help.’

The married couple of six years originally met backstage at the TODAY Show in 2009, began dating in 2015, and rekindled their on/off romance in 2018 three months after his split with Selena Gomez.

Last month, Rolling Stone reported that Justin negotiated a record-breaking $10M paycheck directly with Goldenvoice to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA next April.

Weekend passes were reportedly sold out in a matter of three days.

Speaking of Bieber, the nepo baby of Stephen Baldwin excitedly posed with one of his most famous protégées, Billie Eilish. 

The 23-year-old pop star was honored as the 2025 Music Innovator and The Late Show host Stephen Colbert revealed she’s donating $11.5M of the proceeds from her 106-date Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to organizations combatting food inequity and climate change.

Billie was supported in the audience by her mother Maggie Baird, who’s employed as her personal assistant and fan-outreach coordinator.

Hailey also spent some quality time mingling with the evening’s 2025 Entertainment Innovator, Ben Stiller.

The 59-year-old Severance producer-director not only worked with Bieber’s husband in Zoolander 2 – he also co-starred with her uncle Alec Baldwin in The Royal Tenenbaums, Along Came Polly, and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

Spike Lee enlisted his former Do the Right Thing leading lady Rosie Perez to present him with the 2025 Film Innovator.

The 68-year-old filmmaker made sure to pay due reverence to Star Wars and Indiana Jones creator, George Lucas.

The 81-year-old filmmaker and his second wife – Starbucks board of director Mellody Hobson – were both honored as the 2025 Design Innovators.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg supported his wife of 13 years – Dr. Priscilla Chan – who was honored as the 2025 Philanthropy in Science Innovator.
