Kelsey Grammer, 70, welcomes EIGHTH child as he reveals wife Kayte gave birth to baby boy

Kelsey Grammer just revealed he recently welcomed his eighth child, son Christopher, with fourth wife Kayte Walsh.

The 70-year-old Frasier producer-star announced his baby news while appearing on Monday’s episode of Pod Meets World.

‘Just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids!’ Kelsey gushed.

‘It was like three days ago. Christopher that’s just joined the family.’

It’s been fourth months since DailyMail.com first confirmed the May-December couple were expecting with photos of the obviously expecting 46-year-old in London, with a source saying the pregnancy ‘reignited’ the spark between them.

‘Kelsey is thrilled to finally have time to fully enjoy being a father all over again,’ a source told DailyMail.com.

‘This will be their fourth child together, and with Kelsey’s other three children from his past marriages, their new bundle of joy will have so much love.’

‘After giving Frasier one last go, he has hung his hat up on that character and is ready for the next phase of his life. He is looking forward to embracing the hands-on parenting he missed in the past.’

The married couple of 14 years share three older children together – daughter Faith, 13; as well as sons Kelsey Gabriel, 11; and Auden James, 8.

Kelsey (born Allen) originally met the British blonde in 2009 while she was working as a flight attendant on his London flight.

Grammer first became a father in 1983 when he welcomed 42-year-old daughter Spencer during his two-year marriage to first ex-wife Doreen Alderman, which ended in 1990.

The six-time Emmy winner then welcomed 33-year-old daughter Kandace Greer with retired hair/make-up artist Barrie Buckner, whom he reportedly dated between 1991 and 1992.

Kelsey welcomed two more children – daughter Mason, 24; and son Jude, 21 – during his 13-year marriage to third ex-wife Camille Meyer, which ended in 2011.

Last year, Grammer acted opposite his daughter Greer during season two of his Paramount+ sitcom revival, Frasier.

And in 2022, the Virgin Islands-born, Florida-raised grandfather co-starred with his daughter Spencer in Lifetime movie, The 12 Days of Christmas Eve.

People take it out on you. You get some attention maybe because of it. And there’s a split as to whether or not it’s good or bad.’

Grammer said he’s happiest when all of his children are ‘all in the same room together.’

‘My work has allowed me to be able to do that,’ the Karen: A Brother Remembers author gushed.

‘I’ve been given this great experience. It’s been painful and challenging and hard and tragic — all those things. But boy, it’s a great life. And I want to pass that on to them.’
